Achados vídeo-angiográficos da síndrome de Vogt-Koyanag-Harada utilizando o oftalmoscópio de varredura a laser

SUMMARY

This study utilized the scanning laser ophthalmoscope to perform video-fluoresceinangiograms in patients with the Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome. Through the dynamic nature and excellent image resolution of the video-angiograms, it was possible to observe the fluoresceinangiographic features in great detail, and also to measure macular choroidal capillary filling time, and retinal arterial and venous circulation times.

Compared to an age-matched control group, the group with the syndrome presented a significant delay (P=0.02) in macular choroidal capillary filling time. This is a new finding in the Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome.
