The authors have studied 23 diabetic patients at the Hospital de Clínicas de Franco da Rocha classifying their retinopathy grade and proceeding angiofluoroscopy to detect the microvascular abnormalities due to the disease. They emphasize the importance of an easy and inexpensiive exam that can help in the diagnosis and orientate the treatment, compatible with the echonomical reality of our country.
