Leaf and bark anatomy were studied in Manihot glaziovii Müll. Arg. as part of a series of studies of latex producing plante. The species in question may exceed ten meters in height. Emphasis was given to determining the distribution of laticiferous vessels, which reach their greatest density in the live bark from which latex is extracted. This species is structurally very similar to Manihot caerulescens (studied earlier by the author) and to Hevea brasiliensis Müll. Arg.
