Rabdomiossarcoma ocular: estudo clínico de 12 casos

SUMMARY

The authors analyse 12 pacients with primary ocular RMS, in relation to the following aspects: sex, age, race, time of history, localization of the tumor, ocular examination and histopalogical findings. The results proved to be similar to literature.

Eight patients have been evaluated in terms of treatment, evolution and complications. The pacients who were submitted to radioterapy exclusively died. The pacient who was treated with radiotherapy, chemotherapy and exenteration had no recurrence, as well as the ones who received only radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The authors conclude that the last association is the best therapeutical schedule.
